If you auditioned for Top Chef, what dishes would you prepare?
If I needed to cook something to impress, it would be one of these dishes.
My Menu is a passion project that showcases my culinary skills and creativity, rooted in a childhood filled with love and patience in the kitchen. It began with my immigrant mother, who took the time to teach me the basics of cooking Bajan cuisine when I was young.
Those early lessons carried me through college and beyond, where I continued to experiment and refine my skills. My menu back then would probably comprise of multiple variations of chicken and rice.
While this is currently a personal project, the idea of picking some of these dishes to create a food truck or popup restaurant concept is something always in the back of my head. Maybe one day...
